Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration workflows
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective data models
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and cleansing techniques
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to minimize downtime
• Implement data governance and security measures

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
• Track record of designing and implementing data pipelines and complex data models.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL development
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or other relevant data services
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data science concepts is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
