One of our clients is active in the planning and consulting of renewable energy projects. With projects in Germany and Europe focusing on wind energy, photovoltaics, grid connection and sector coupling, they are actively shaping the energy transition.
They rely on an international, interdisciplinary team of engineers from various disciplines, landscape architects, and meteorologists.
About this position
We are looking for a project manager technical due diligence wind energy (m|w|d) in Munich to strengthen team for tasks in the field of consulting wind energy for a long-term cooperation.
Theirs customers are national and international investors from the institutional and municipal sector, project developers and wind farm operators. They support in transaction processes, e.g. the acquisition of wind farms and project portfolios, and advise on the further development of existing assets, eg in connection with the repowering of existing wind farms.
In addition, they take care of a wide range of issues in the technical and commercial operation of wind farms.
GERMAN (min. B2)
Your tasks:
- Project assessment of wind farms, wind farm portfolios and development pipelines in Germany and Europe
- Independent preparation of due diligence reports
- Management of interdisciplinary teams of experts in complex due diligence projects
- Review and evaluation of project contracts, approval documents and cost assumptions
- Evaluation of project risks and development of solutions
- Advising our clients on technical and economic issues
- In perspective, the assumption of team leadership is possible.
- Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in technical consulting, operational management, project development or realization of wind farms
- Ability to explain complex issues orally and in writing
- Solution-oriented work
- Enjoyment of consulting-intensive activities
- Willingness for acquisition activities
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
