About the company
For our client, leading global renewable energy developer, service provider, distributor and energy solutions provider, we are looking for a Senior Engineer Photovoltaics (m|f|d).

They rely on an international, interdisciplinary team of engineers from various disciplines as well as landscape architects and meteorologists. They plan PV ground-mounted systems and wind farms and the associated infrastructure for community energies, municipalities, project developers and energy suppliers in Germany.

Their customers are national and international investors from the institutional and municipal sector, project developers and solar park operators. They support you in transaction processes, eg the acquisition of solar parks and project portfolios, and advise on the further development of existing assets, eg in connection with the repowering of existing solar parks. In addition, they take care of a wide range of issues in the technical and commercial operation of solar parks.



What will you do
 

• Project appraisal of solar parks, solar park portfolios and development pipelines in Germany and Europe
• Independent preparation of due diligence reports
• Project management of interdisciplinary specialist teams in complex due diligence projects
• Review and evaluation of project contracts, approval documents and cost assumptions
• Evaluation of project risks and development of solution approaches
• Advising our customers on technical and economic issues
• Analysis of operating data and development of optimization proposals
• Preparation of PV yield reports and performance reviews of solar parks

What we are looking for

• Completed engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in technical consulting, operational management, project development or the realization of solar parks
• Sound knowledge in the field of PV system technology (design, implementation, quality assurance, data and error analysis)
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or R, SQL and knowledge of data architecture desirable
• The ability to explain complex issues verbally and in writing
• Solution-oriented work
• Enjoys consulting activities
• Willingness to take occasional business trips
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
