Qualifications
Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree
3 to 5 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer
practical experience working in a grinding or automated machining setting
Bachelor's Degree as minimum education
Responsibilities
Plans, manages, and coordinates technical assistance for manufacturing operations involving machining and grinding.
creates and assesses manufacturing techniques
Utilize a "hands-on" manner to create and execute fixes for production issues as well as advancements in manufacturing techniques that lead to better quality and higher productivity while preserving a secure working environment.
Production equipment analysis and troubleshooting based on mechanical examination and technical drawings
To enhance technical skills, give operators, setup personnel, manufacturing technicians, and manufacturing engineering technicians training.
To ensure effective production techniques, interact with all organizational levels utilizing verbal, written, and graphical communication tools.
Using AD software or manually charted drawings, create and document tooling designs on drawings that communicate tooling needs to toolmakers.
analyzes and plans the use of the work force, the need for space, the workflow, and designs equipment and workspace arrangements for maximum effectiveness.
to ensure effective manufacturing techniques, consult planning and design professionals on product design and tooling.
assesses items in accordance with specifications and quality standards and consults with vendors to identify product specifications and make arrangements for the procurement of equipment, materials, or parts.
provides information for management decisions by estimating production timelines, manpower needs, and associated costs.
Discusses manufacturing capacities, production schedules, and other issues with management, engineers, and other staff to streamline production operations.
Utilizes statistical techniques, such as machine capability studies, to determine probable production needs and requirements in the future.
plans, carries out, and monitors Projects for both capital and non-capital cost reduction, as well as frequent management reports
In the entire plant, support the 5-S, Kaizen Team, TS16949, and ISO14000 initiatives.
